How does a travel motor & gear box work?
The working principle of the excavator's traveling motor is to convert the hydraulic energy inside the motor into mechanical energy to propel the excavator to travel.When the excavator needs to move, the driver operates the control lever in the cab to open the hydraulic control valve and deliver high-pressure liquid from the hydraulic tank to the hydraulic motor. After the hydraulic motor receives high-pressure fluid input, the internal hydraulic energy converts the oil pressure into mechanical energy to drive the motor to rotate and drive the excavator to move. At the same time, through the control of the steering valve, the motor can realize various driving modes such as forward, backward, left and right turns, etc.
