How does a sensor work?

The functions of engine sensors mainly include:
Crankshaft position sensor. Detect the top dead center signal, engine speed signal and crankshaft angle signal, and input them into the computer to control the cylinder ignition sequence and optimal ignition time.
Camshaft position sensor. Collects valve camshaft position signals and provides cylinder judgment signals for injection timing and sequence control, ignition timing control and knock control.
Air flow sensor. Measure the air flow entering the engine and convert it into an electrical signal for input to the engine computer.
Intake air pressure sensor. Detects the difference between the absolute pressure in the intake pipe and the ambient atmosphere.
Throttle position sensor. The change in the throttle opening angle is converted into an electrical signal and sent to the computer.
Oxygen Sensor. Detect exhaust emission values and use them to control the air-fuel ratio.
Knock sensor. Avoid engine explosion and ensure smooth engine operation.
Intake air temperature sensor. Adjusting the amount of fuel injection affects the amount of air mass entering the engine.
Water temperature sensor. According to changes in engine temperature conditions, the length of fuel injection time is accurately controlled.

In addition, engine sensors also include air flow meters, vehicle speed sensors, etc. These sensors work together to ensure smooth, efficient engine operation.
