How does a fuel injectcion pump work?
The fuel injection pump is an important part of the diesel engine. The fuel injection pump assembly is usually a whole composed of fuel injection pump, governor and other components installed together. Among them, the speed regulator is a component that ensures the low-speed operation of the diesel engine and limits the maximum speed, and ensures that a certain relationship between the injection volume and the speed is maintained. The fuel injection pump is the most important component of the diesel engine and is regarded as the "heart" component of the diesel engine. Once it goes wrong, the entire diesel engine will work abnormally. The fuel injection pump is the "heart" of the diesel engine, so the fuel injection pump must be properly maintained. When installing a fuel injection pump on a diesel engine, the fuel supply advance angle must be checked and adjusted; after the diesel engine has been running for 500 hours, the fuel supply advance angle must be rechecked and adjusted.
National standard light diesel must be used, and the diesel must undergo sedimentation filtration for 48 to 96 hours.
Pay attention to cleaning the diesel tank and diesel filter at ordinary times.
Check the engine oil in the speed regulator every day and add enough in time if it is insufficient.
If there is a skeleton oil seal between the fuel injection pump and the governor, engine oil must be added separately.
If the oil level rises due to oil dilution, it indicates serious oil leakage from the fuel injection pump and oil transfer pump, which should be eliminated in time.
After the diesel engine has been running for 100 hours, the engine oil should be replaced and the filter screen of the oil transfer pump should be cleaned.
The fuel injection pump must not be disassembled or adjusted at will, especially the parts with seals. When it is really necessary to disassemble and repair, the place must be cleaned before proceeding.
