How does a final drive parts work?
The structure of the excavator traveling motor includes four main parts: reducer, gear, steering valve, and hydraulic motor.
1.Reducer
The reducer can reduce the high-speed rotation of the hydraulic motor and control the speed of the excavator when traveling. The reducer can also convert the high torque output by the motor into low torque to meet the walking needs of the excavator.
2.Gear
Gears are an important part of the excavator's traveling motor. The gears in the excavator's traveling motor are generally made of high-hardness alloy materials to ensure their reliability in harsh environments such as high pressure and high temperature.
3. Steering valve
The steering valve is the core part of the excavator's traveling motor. Its main function is to control the flow of hydraulic oil to enable the excavator to travel.
4.Hydraulic motor
The hydraulic motor is the power source for the excavator to move. It uses hydraulic energy to convert oil pressure into mechanical energy to propel the excavator to move.
2. Working principle of excavator traveling motor
The working principle of the excavator's traveling motor is to convert the hydraulic energy inside the motor into mechanical energy to propel the excavator to travel.
When the excavator needs to move, the driver operates the control lever in the cab to open the hydraulic control valve and deliver high-pressure liquid from the hydraulic tank to the hydraulic motor. After the hydraulic motor receives high-pressure fluid input, the internal hydraulic energy converts the oil pressure into mechanical energy to drive the motor to rotate and drive the excavator to move. At the same time, through the control of the steering valve, the motor can realize various driving modes such as forward, backward, left and right turns, etc.
