How does a wiper motor work?
1. The wiper motor is driven by the motor. The rotation of the motor is converted into the reciprocating motion of the wiper arm through the linkage mechanism, thereby realizing the wiper action. Generally, the motor is turned on to make the wiper work. By selecting the high speed and low speed gear, The current of the motor can be changed to control the motor speed and thus the scraper arm speed;
2. The car's wipers are driven by the wiper motor, and a potentiometer is used to control the motor speed in several gears. There is a small gear transmission enclosed in the same housing at the rear end of the wiper motor, which reduces the output speed to the required speed;
3. This device is commonly known as the wiper drive assembly. The output shaft of the assembly is connected to the wiper end mechanical device, and the wiper's reciprocating swing is realized through the fork drive and spring return.
How wipers work. The wiper relies on the rotation of the motor, which is converted into a back-and-forth motion by the connecting rod, and this force is transmitted to the wiper arm and the wiper itself. When the rubber part of the wiper hardens, the wiper cannot fit closely with the glass surface, or if the wiper becomes scratched, it will cause uneven wiping and form residual dirt.
